It keeps you dry and comfortable during high exertion activities in cool to moderate temperatures and insulates beneath a shell in cold weather. The Crew is constructed with Polartec® PowerGrid® fabric made from 93% recycled polyester, which significantly cuts down on petroleum use. It is treated with PolyGene® Permanent Odor Control® for happy tent partners and less trips to the washing Machine. The fabric has a smooth face for easy layering and a brushed grid pattern on the inside for next to skin warmth, breathability and moisture wicking performance. The fabric is also Bluesign® approved. Bluesign® is a rigorous manufacturing standard that provides the highest level of consumer safety, conserves resources, and minimizes impact on people and the environment. The Men's Capilene® Midweight replaces our old Capilene® 2 and 3 fabrics, combining the best features of both. Features include a rib-knit collar with internal neck tape for chafe-free comfort and a locker loop for hang drying. The offset shoulder seams eliminate chafing under pack straps, and the full underarm gussets allow for shoulder mobility and chafe-free comfort. Elastic thumb loops offer secure hand coverage for warmth. The flat-locked seams are smooth next to skin, and the drop-tail hem provides additional coverage at the back.
